Eagles’ players lazily retired against

Fractured cemented walls.

Garage package of floppy disks

To Windows and Microsoft installs.

Place mats once framed holiday stills

In cabinets full of diaries uncatalogued,

A mess of deserted steel-

Vertical time replaced the space with

Yearbooks on top of years of books carrying

Dust on each page, still covering album face.

Until the walls are clear,

The draft lingers and saturates

Within the structure we are raised.
